Ajay Devgn, born on April 2, 1969, is a well-known Indian film star, director, and film producer mainly active in Hindi cinema. Widely recognized as a top-tier actors, he has featured in over a hundred movies and received several honors, such as four National Film Awards and 4 Filmfare Awards. In 2016, he was honored with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award. Devgn made his acting debut with the romantic-action film *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a commercial success that catapulted him to fame. He subsequently featured in hit action movies such as *Jigar* (1992), *Suhaag* (1994), *Vijaypath* (1994), and romantic hits like *Ishq* (1997) and *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* (1999). His critically acclaimed performance in *Zakhm* (1998) earned him a National Film Award for Best Actor. Throughout the 2000s, Devgn gave critically praised performances in films like *Company* (2002), *The Legend of Bhagat Singh* (2002), and *Omkara* (2006). His portrayal Bhagat Singh earned him his second National Film Award for Best Actor. In the 2010s, he made a strong comeback with big commercial hits such as *Singham* (2011) and *Golmaal Again* (2017).
